The Palin Crosshairs Map

Below is the map, put out by Sarah Palin during the 2010 elections, which drew crosshairs on the districts of Democratic congressional representatives that she was targeting. Immediately following the Tucson shootings, she took it down from her website.

Has no one noted that She Who Will Not Apologize hasn't even got a clue where Gabrielle Giffords's district is? It's in the southeast corner of the state, bordering Mexico. So which of the crosshairs is supposed to represent Giffords's district? Is Mama Grizzly geographically challenged, among her many other disabilities?

Online humorist, Betty Bowers, said it well, albeit humorously:

The outline for Sarah Palin's speech: “(1) Flag; (2) That Arizona Thingy; (3) Me; (4) Me; (5) Me; (6) Me; (7) Me; (8) Me; (9) Me; (10) Me; (11) Flag again; and (12) Look like I care about items 1, 2, 11 and 12.” She's like the gal who gets up to give an eulogy at a funeral and uses her time to berate the congregation for taking all the good parking

With regard to Palin’s cluelessness about her “blood libel” remark (itself proof that she is ahistorical): this has been circulating:

“Hi. This is Sarah Palin. Is Senator Lieberman in?”

“No, governor. This is Yom Kippur.”

“Well, hello Yom. Can I leave a message?”
